SUGAR COOKIES
 
1 CUP POWDER SUGAR
1 CUP WHITE SUGAR
2 CUPS CRISCO
2 EGGS
4 CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
1 TEASPOON CREAM OF TARTER
1 TEASPOON VANILLA
1 TEASPOON SALT

  1. CREAM CRISCO, SUGAR, EGGS, VANILLA, TOGETHER.
  2. ADD ALL DRY INGREDIENTS, MIX WELL.
  3. ROLL OUT AND CUT INTO SHAPES (NOT TOO THIN A LITTLE LESS THAN 1/4 INCH).
  4. BAKE UNTIL LIGHT GOLDEN BROWN.

SUGAR COOKIE ICING
 
3 EGG WHITES
1 BOX POWDER SUGAR
1/4 TEASPOON CREAM OF TARTER
1/2 TEASPOON VANILLA

  1. MIX WELL DIVIDE AND COLOR. (I HAVE ALWAYS USED WILTON CAKE DECORATING COLOR).
  2. PAINT ON TO SLIGHTLY WARM COOKIES WITH A FAN BRUSH. (I USE A REGULAR FAN PAINT BRUSH THAT I GOT AT WAL MART OR HOBBY LOBBY).
